Instructions
Mix the Custard
Crack the eggs and combine with the milk into a bowl.
Mix in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
Toast the Bread
Heat a frying pan on medium.
Spread butter on the hot pan.
One at a time, take the pieces of toast and quickly dip it into the custard, then place on the frying pan. Be sure you DO NOT soak the toast - we only want to coat the outside of the bread with the custard.
Sprinkle cinnamon on the top side of each piece of toast.
Cook each side of the toast for 2-4 minutes, until crispy.
Preparation
Move the slices of toast to a plate.
Spread butter onto each piece of toast.
Sprinkle the powder sugar onto each piece of toast.
Finish
Enjoy! Pairs nicely with a cup of coffee.
